Your projects are your business. StitchWise is built so that we never see your data at all. This policy is short because there is almost nothing to disclose.
Nothing. StitchWise has no accounts, no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs. We do not operate any server that receives your data.
Everything you enter in StitchWise (your projects, counters, yarn stash, photos, and imported pattern PDFs) is stored on your device. If iCloud is available, your data is also stored in your personal, private iCloud database, encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple. We have no access to it, and no sign-in is required.
If you add a photo to a yarn, StitchWise asks permission to access that one photo and stores a copy with your stash on your device. It never uploads your photos and never scans your library.
The optional one-time StitchWise Pro purchase is processed entirely by Apple through your App Store account. We receive no payment details. Because it is a one-time purchase, there is nothing to cancel.
You can export your full stash and projects as CSV at any time from Settings, free, and erase everything by deleting the app (and removing StitchWise data from iCloud in iOS Settings).
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
